Trompe l'oeil bed-head, 1989
|
This design was painted on a flat board, attached to the wall behind a double bed and serving to mask a disused hole in the wall. The commission was to create the impression of an old-fashioned dresser behind the bed. The trompe l'oeil shelves support a selection of objects of particular sentimental value to the owners of the house.
